Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
When confirmation of an order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Nothing in this agreement affects your statutory rights
We may change any part of the website including the terms and conditions, at any time and without prior notice at our sole discretion. By placing an order on the website, you indicate acceptance of these changes and terms and conditions.
Substitutes:
If an item is only available in alternative sizes to the quantity ordered, we will endeavor to supply an equal or greater quantity or refund the difference in price.
Where a customer has indicated that 'substitutes are acceptable' and the same brand is not available, we will substitute with a suitable alternative brand, or product, to equal or greater value wherever possible, at no extra cost to our customer.
If a customer has indicated 'no substitutes' and the same brand is not available in different sizes, we will credit the full cost of the item/s.
Product:
All descriptions, weights, dimensions and other details of any goods made available on this site are those of the original manufacturers and are intended only to provide a general description of the goods. Accordingly, any such description shall not form part of this agreement.
Taxes & Duties:
The customer is responsible for the payment of any import duties, taxes and any other local charges levied in the country of residence. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they might be. For further advice and information please contact your local customs office.
Customs:
You acknowledge that for any goods you order from us:
a) You are over the legal age , if applicable to such goods such as alcoholic beverages.
b) That the goods are not prohibited in your country of residence, for example; Alcoholic products - USA or Honey products - New Zealand.
c) Expat Essentials cannot be held responsible or offer refunds for any goods delayed, lost or damaged by Customs in your country of residence.

Delivery Schedule
Delivery:
We will normally despatch your order within 3-4 business days (up to 5 days during peak demand). Deliveries will be made by our appointed distribution partner to the delivery address stipulated on your order. It is your responsibility to ensure that you or someone you appoint will be available to receive and sign for your delivery.
The expected transit times shown on our website are an approximation only and whilst every effort will be made to effect the delivery of your order we cannot be held responsible for delays or damages outside our control, such as intervention by local Customs in your country of residence.

3) We regret that we cannot accept general returns of perishable foodstuffs or products which may pose a hygiene/health risk, such as baby formula, or any items which have been ordered/commisioned to your personal specifications.*
