Combiotic® anti-reflux milk formula

For the dietary management of reflux & regurgitation

Thickened formula

Omega 3 & 6 LCPs

Reflux and regurgitation
It is very common and normal for babies to bring up small amounts of feeds occasionally, this is known as posseting. Some babies bring up much more than others; if you are concerned your baby has severe or frequent reflux, you should seek advice from your healthcare professional before using this product.

Why choose HiPP Combiotic® anti-reflux?
Hipp Combiotic® anti-reflux is a gentle, thickened milk formula. The addition of the natural thickener carob bean gum allows the formula to thicken in the bottle helping the feed to stay down.
Thickened formula which makes it easier for feeds to stay down
LCP (Omega 3 & 6) these fatty acids are particularly important in the first months of a baby's life as they don't produce enough LCPs on their own

HiPP anti-reflux is a nutritionally complete formula and is suitable as a dietary treatment for reflux and regurgitation in infants. Under medical supervision it can be used from birth onwards as the sole source of nutrition for your baby, or as part of a varied weaning diet from six months.

Dietetic food for special medical purposes

Use and Storage
Preparing the feed
Preparation of anti-reflux formulas is different to normal infant milks, so please follow all preparation and feeding instructions carefully. Failure to do so may make your baby ill, as powdered milks are not sterile.
1 Wash hands and sterilise all equipment according to the manufacturers' instructions.
2 Boil 500 ml of freshly run water and leave to cool for 45 minutes. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
3 Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle (referring to the Feeding Guide).
4 Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of scoops of powder - one level scoop of powder to each fluid ounce of water (approx. 30 ml). Level off the powder using the scoop leveller. Do not press the powder.
5 Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and roll between the palms for 5 seconds. Shake for 20 seconds, then leave to stand for 7 minutes to thicken.
6 Shake again, then check that the milk is at feeding temperature (approx. 37ºC). Feed immediately.
