Q: Do I have to register with you before I can access the various parts of the site?
 
A: No, registration is not necessary, although by registering, you will be able to collect loyalty points on all of your purchases. You are welcome to browse as much as you wish. This website is designed to be as user friendly as possible. If there is anything at all that you would like to see included on the site, please let us know and we'll do our best to include it.
 
Q: Is there a minimum order amount?
 
A: Yes, there is a minimum order value of just £20.
 
Q: Is there a maximum amount that I can order?
 
A: Generally no, with the exception of baby formula, however some countries outside of the EU, may charge import duty on high value orders or restrict the amount allowed for import, so we would recommend checking this first.
 
Q: Do you accept credit and charge cards and are payments secure?
 
A: We accept most Credit and Debit Cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Solo, Switch/Maestro, Visa Debit, Visa Electron) and also PayPal. All transactions are totally secure and processed through our payment partners Sagepay or PayPal. For your additional security, we do not receive or hold any card details here at Expat Essentials.
 
Q: Where can you deliver to and how long does it take?
 
A: We can deliver to most countries worldwide and depending on the destination, this can take as little as 2 days, (plus a few days for us to process and pack your order). Our Delivery Info page can give you specific information on approx. delivery times & costs to your door and please remember to add 3 to 4 working days for us to process your order. Once orders have been despatched via our carriers, we will then send you details with a parcel tracking reference.
 
Q: What about customs regulations in my country of residence?
 
A: Certain products can be restricted for importation into your country. We will check your order before despatch and if we find any prohibited items we will remove them from your order and refund you with the cost of them. We cannot however guarantee 100% accuracy for this as customs laws are subject to frequent changes in some parts of the world. It is therefore your responsibility to check that the products you order are permissible for import to the country of residence for the person receiving the goods. Please also note that we have no control over customs intervention and any resulting delays which may occur.
 
Q: How do I go about ordering products from the shop?
 
A: Simply select a category on the left hand side of your screen to find the products that you are looking for. If you wish to purchase any items click the "Add to Cart" button to add them to the shopping basket. Once you have selected all the products you wish to order, click the "Checkout " button. You will then be asked for delivery address details and the shipping cost will be calculated. Once you are happy with this, click to confirm the order and you will be taken to the secure payment page.
 
Q: What if you don't have the product(s) that I'm looking for?
 
A: Just email us with your product request and we will do our best to add the products to the website.
